History
The construction of a two-storey school building on a 6,610-square meter compound situated at Gemilina St., Tayud, Liloan, began in March 2013. Completed in March 2014, GTNA had its blessing and inauguration on March 29, 2014. The first school year started its full operation in June 2014, offering Preschool and Grades 1 – 7, with eleven teachers and 109 students.
On April 7, 2015, the school was awarded Government Recognition for the Preschool, Elementary, and Secondary Education Courses. GT Northeast Academy now offers Grade 11 and Grade 12 of the Senior High School Program, with a focus on the Academic Track, mainly STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) and ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management. Last April 2018, the school has been granted a Certification Status for having met the standards and completed the requirements of the Certification Program of the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) for the Educational Service Contracting (ESC) of the GASTPE program of the Department of Education.
With great pride, GTNA now stands with state-of-the-art facilities: Fully air-conditioned classrooms with LCD projectors and students’ cubby holes/ lockers, Library, Clinic, Laboratories (TLE, Science, and Computer), Dance studio, Music room, Chapel, Drafting/Robotics Room, Gymnasium, Canteen, and Parents’ Lounge. CCTVs give 24- hour security and the turnstile gate that gives better access and security for unauthorized entry. Bridging the school closer to home, parents can access easy communication through a school management system. With knowledge learned from licensed, highly qualified and dedicated teachers and administrators, rigorous trainings in the academics, fun in sports and creativity boost in visual and performing arts, and advanced learning supplements, all these lay the focal ground for a dynamic and conducive learning environment. Our children, the learners, are at the heart of GTNA’s curriculum.


2014
GT Northeast Academy was first named as GT Bright Academy and was inaugurated on March 29, 2014. The school started its first year offering Preschool and Grades 1 – 7.

2015
We changed our school name to what is now, GT Northeast Academy, and started our second year of operations. The school also received its Government Recognition Certificate from the Department of Education – Region VII.
Getting a step close to the GTNA vision-mission and be able to further guide more students for a better future, GTNA opens grades 8, 9, and 10 situated in the newly constructed 3rd and 4th floor.

2016
Completing the K-12 curriculum and striving for excellence, GTNA opens its Senior High School program, enabling the school to cater to each aspiring GTNA student’s whole basic education needs.

2017
As a family-owned institution, the founders place their own Son to stand as the institution’s school director, ensuring that the management will continue to pursue the founder’s vision and mission.

2018
In the pursuit of excellence, GTNA achieves PEAC accreditation, proving to the community that the school is striving and moving forward to its vision and mission. To further cater to our students’ holistic growth, it was also in this year that the multi-media laboratory is made available to them.

2019
Recognizing the need to develop the schools’ facilities further as the needs of GTNA grows and in order to achieve the holistic growth of students, GTNA blesses the construction of the semi-Olympic swimming pool and opens the robotics organization to aspiring tech-savvy students.

2020
The school founders and board of trustees continues its vision and mission to give quality education by guiding and helping the children of this generation to grow into responsible and morally upright individuals, through careful planning GTNA rapidly shifts into remote learning.
