It all began...

GT Northeast Academy (GT meaning “God’s Talent”) was conceived out of the ardent passion and advocacy for education by charismatic Couples for Christ members, Mr. Rogelio Salvane, Sr. and his wife, Engr. Leonora Salvane. The dream to build a par excellent school was born driven by the desire to produce graduates who are academic achievers and to nurture students to become potential and responsible future community leaders.

The Academy

The construction of a two-storey school building on a 6,000-square meter compound situated at Gemilina St., Tayud, Liloan, began in March 2013. Completed in March 2014, GTNA had its blessing and inauguration on March 29, 2014. The first school year started its full operation in June 2014, offering Preschool and Grades 1 – 7, with eleven teachers and 109 students.

On April 7, 2015, the school was awarded Government Recognition for the Preschool, Elementary, and Secondary Education Courses. GT Northeast Academy now offers Grade 11 and Grade 12 of the Senior High School Program, with a focus on the Academic Track, mainly STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) and ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management).
